Hospitals / Special Needs

Louby Lou is a qualified “Clown Doctor” who entertains sick children in many Hospitals in the North. She works for a Charity bringing Fun and Laughter to patients, parents and staff every week at Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital, North Manchester and Bradford.

Louby Lou’s vast experience in this field allows her to entertain the children taking into consideration the capabilities of the child whilst being sensitive to their needs. Louby Lou can entertain on  a one- to- one basis or in a group depending on the circumstances.

She also does lots of work within Special Schools and Charities.

There is nothing more rewarding than bringing fun, smiles and laughter to a sick child. This is achieved through magic, clowning, comedy, balloon modelling, role play and improvisation.

I can truly say its the BEST job in the world!!

Susan Fairclough (Therapeutic and Specialised Play Service Manager of the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital) recently quoted;

“Louby Lou can adapt to various environments working with children, including children and teenagers with complex special needs and children and teenagers who are sick in hospital.

Everyone who meets Louby Lou sings her praises and look forward to seeing her entertain again and again.”
